Built 1985 entering service at Heaton (HT) depot in Newcastle.
Transferred later to the Wales and west franchise before being transferred to GWR. Latterly operated from Exeter depot.
Withdrawn in December 2020 and passing to VoBR, initially stored at Wishaw, Warwickshire, currently at the Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway.
