55025 Pressed Steel ‘Bubblecar’ Class 121 DMU

Built at the Pressed Steel plant at Linwood in 1960 entering service at Southall depot (81C) remained on the Western Region until transfer to departmental stock in 1993 as DB977859.
Operated as a Sandite / Route Learning unit until 2000 when it became a video Survey Unit for Balfour Beatty until 2004, when it reverted to a Route Learning duties.
It acquired the nickname 'Pandora’ in 1993
Acquired for preservation in 2016.
Now owned by two VoBR members and undergoing a prolonged restoration at Honeybourne Airfield.
